Today’s consciousness-raising on race is less about helping black people than it is about white people seeking grace.

Rather, the good white person views themselves as the bearer of an unearned ‘privilege’ because of their color….This brand of self-flagellation has become the new form of enlightenment on race issues. It qualifies as a kind of worship…”
This form of worship is indeed becoming the doctrine in “progressive” secular circles as well as in many supposedly non-doctrinal Unitarian Universalist churches. — MHP
