My blogging buddy K.L. Allendoerfer has introduced me to the Brain Pickings website and in particular the essay below by… well… the brain behind all the picking, Maria Popova. She uses art, poetry, philosophy, and just about anything she picks to shed light from a slightly different angle on this time we live in.
